FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

Just wear something comfortable and unrestrictive and bring a yoga mat.

Are the classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, all my classes are mixed ability and everyone works to their own comfortable pace.

Are you qualified?

Yes. I have over 30 years experience of yoga and qualified in 2006 with the British Wheel of Yoga, a full 4 year course with the most widely recognised international school of yoga. I am also qualified as a meditation and mindfulness trainer and have studied at various retreats and Ashrams in the UK, France and India and I am a member of the Independent Yoga Network.

Can I swap classes?

Yes, you can book any class that suits you each week.

Am I too old or too young to start Yoga?

You’re never too old or young to start yoga, however for the class you need to be over 16 and under 75 for insurance purposes.

I have a health problem. Is Yoga still for me?

I’m not medically qualified, so if you’re in any doubt, of course ask your GP. However, many ailments will be greatly helped through practising yoga and I generally suggest that starting with my one to one classes can be helpful.

Can I practise while pregnant or soon after giving birth?

I’d highly recommend joining a special pregnancy or post natal yoga class through my friend and colleague Linda Beach linda@lindabeach.co.uk
